CANDICE SPOON

Candice Spoon is a paralegal with Ross LLP, where she is an expert at electronic filings, document management, and litigation support services.

Ms. Spoon has worked in elite law firms ranging from boutiques to large, international firms over the last 29 years, including Kelley, Drye & Warren LLP, Arnold & Porter, Hughes Hubbard & Reed, and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Ms. Spoon has extensive experience in bankruptcy law assisting with the representation for creditors’ committees, trustees, and debtors-in-possession.  She has worked on civil and business litigation cases for financial services litigation, general business litigation, securities litigation, and labor and employment cases, to name a few, with single plaintiffs, multiple plaintiffs, or class action cases, in state courts, federal courts, and circuit courts of appeal. 

She has widespread docketing/calendaring experience in cases throughout the country and is an expert in electronic filings, document management, and litigation support services.

Ms. Spoon was honored in 2018 by the ACLU and the City of Los Angeles with the Access for Justice Award for her contributions in assisting the class members in the Hernandez v. Garland case, and has assisted with two amicus briefs filed in the Supreme Court of the United States.

She has been a Certified Paralegal since 2006 and is a Notary Public.
